i used to have xmas stuffed animals i put out, but they slowly succumbed to the dogs... now every ornament i consider buying must meet the 'does not appeal to dogs' requirement. as dog vs tree would be epic fail. thus far, they have been pretty uninterested in the tree, and i'd like to keep it that way.

and huey modeling your apron is hilarious.

Surprisingly, Huey has left mine alone. He's nosed at the penguin pillow a few times but gave up after several sharp LEAVE ITs. The others are out of his reach. Everything else in my house has to meet dog requirements of not being edible or dangerous if eaten, not being expensive in case it gets broken, or not being interesting to them, lol. Huey checks out the tree every year when it goes up, but then leaves it alone, which is miraculous!

He's a very patient model! He lets me put just about anything on him and will stay if there's a promise of a treat, lol.
