Been to a farmer's market two days in a row

Yesterday was so much fun I went to another farmer's market today, during lunch. Here's some of what I bought:

MMmm, those tomatoes look tasty and so does that purple pepper .. it'll be interesting to see what it tastes like!

I put half the purple pepper into some pasta sauce so I don't really know what it tasted like. (I still have the other half though.) I had one of the tomatoes and it was soooooo good! :-)

I will go and post to that community...it looks like fun!

purple peppers taste just like green peppers to me, but they are pretty. :-)

I've never seen a purple pepper! They have purple carrots here...actually maroon...because the Aggies created them specifically to be Aggie Maroon. I can't say I'm tempted to eat them though. What did the pepper taste like?

I would have to try a purple carrot just for fun. I put some of the purple pepper in pasta sauce last night so I couldn't really tell what it tasted like. But I still have some left. I'll need to do a taste test, comparing it to the green pepper.
