Well I am leaving UMass soon to stay at a friends house in Amherst because I am leaving for Cape Charles Virginia at 6am tomorrow! I'm really excited and really nervous and sad that I'm not gonna get to see ppl over break :( BUT I'm glad I can finally put my ideals into action and do something worthwhile, that will hopefully be a warm up for the ( Read more... ) -

Today I went to go see "Hotel Rwanda" with jess and alyssa. It was so moving. I cried so much. It is probably the best movie that I have ever seen. The horrible thing is that that REALLY happened only a decade ago, and people here in the US don't even know about it, or don't even care enough to know about it. Hey guess what? Well alyssa left for school (or is most likely still at home packing, knowing her)- but either way there is already a void in my soul and that is why I am resorting to livejournal after such a long hiatus. The one thing I've realized about college is that this whole communication thing sucks. I have to call a million people to get the word out and tell the same stories 5 times, it's frustrating so I think Livejournal will be a better outlet ( Read more... ) -
