So the Brazilians are in town working and apparently on Tuesdays they have a new theme throughout the duration of Carnivale.  Tonight's theme was opposite - so if you're a guy, dress like a girl and vice versa...Here's a recap (sorry, no pictures with this one ( Read more... )

Yay! I'm so excited just to see that big banana. Too bad it's not moving anywhere anytime soon, but it's still so good to have it back! More updates to come!

Here are the Ohio Laws re: DUI

1st Offense

• Administrative License Suspension (ALS) for a prohibited BAC;
• ALS for test refusal = one year license suspension;
• Jail - Minimum of three consecutive days or 3-day driver intervention program;
• Fine - Minimum $200 and not more than $1,000;
• Court License Suspension - 6 months to 3 years;

So far the cheapest lawyer is $1000! Damn!

Oh and my phone is all jacked up so if you can't get ahold of me, that's why. It will only stay on when it's plugged into the outlet. So much for the convienence aspect of that!

...So the talk with Mom didn't go as bad as what I thought it would.  She was understanding and will help me out if I need it.  Don't get me wrong, she was pissed.  But she just said that this will probably be a very expensive lesson to learn.  I have a feeling she's going to be right!
