Turns out, my roommate and I both ended up having bad days yesterday. I went in there after getting off the phone with Cathleen and hugged her and we started talking about both of our situations, getting some of the affirmation that we both needed. I skipped class and did some retail therapy. I got a new super-soft purple sweater, a denim jacket, green cordoroy pants, which of course I need to get altered, brown dressy shoes with a chunky heel because they're the only kind of heel I can walk on, and they would help my pants fit.
