Panic abating, still a little worried, but Migo seems okay

Had a bad bit of worry this weekend when the Catboy noticed Migo was using the catbox a lot without much happening. One pricey emergency room visit later, it looks like an infection. We'd know for sure, but that would have taken $450 more for an ultrasound, which we just don't have

Yep. right there with you. I consistently refer to Gomez as 'the most expensive cat in the whole house' because he has a tendency to mimic things that look like abdominal/bladder pain, and then when I get him to the vet, they're all, no, his bladder's tiny, from what we can feel. Last time we did Xrays; $350 later, i have a fat cat with no physical issues that they can see.

Oh, man. I'm so sorry about the weekend stress. I think it's a good thing to take the pet to the vet when there's real sign of trouble, because one just never knows, but yeah, doctors are pricy. :/
