DameRuth2007.04.23 - 06:00PM1: 2005 Dr. Who Summary: HeroesSignedNice summary -- totally agree with you about them needing a scientific advisor (and I know a lot of scientists who'd be willing to volunteer for that post for free, including self!). I'd point out that RE: aliens and redemption, the Doc's character arc fits that theme, and so he does qualify as a non-human carrying the theme through the series, FWIW.
One technical aspect -- you hit a couple of my "I do not think that word means what you think it means" buttons; I believe, under the discussion of redemption, you meant "pursue," rather than "peruse", and under the discussion of Achillies you meant "vicious" rather than "viscous" -- though this being DW, the possibility of a viscous gunman isn't immediately discountable . . . LOL! :D
I'd be interested to see your analysis of the 2nd season -- I've had arguments with folks about the theme(s) of *that* one!
