What do you need to do to get it finished?
18 chapters posted, one chapter in edits, one chapter left to write.

My brain? I just need to write it. I don't think anyone can help with this one, I don't have any reason for not finishing it other than I haven't made the effort to finish it.

The first is a short story I'd like to submit to a SF market. It's due by the middle of next month.
The second is a novel to be determined when I'm finished with the short story. I have several ideas to choose from.

Stumbling blocks for me are insecurities. I don't mind advice for believing in myself and getting past self-imposed blocks.

More than poking, I guess I just need someone to care whether I finish or not, which is asking a lot, I know.

I guess I just need someone to care whether I finish or not, which is asking a lot, I know. I'll put up a post later for people to request and offer more in-depth support (although it's totally fine to do that on this post). For what it's worth, I care that you finish :)

What do you need to do to get it finished? probably 20k words (two installments) for HKL and at least 60k words for LOS.
Any stumbling blocks? I tend to be easily distracted by shiny things. I have adult ADHD and often need to be steered gently back toward my goals. advice is fine if i report that the story/words are the problem, but mostly my brain itself is my enemy.
