So, as stated, did a theme park day on Friday, and at about 5pm it started lashing. Real 'maybe we should start building one of these 'ark' things' kinda rain. So we had to leave the park and head back to the hotel. And on the path back to our room, I decide to jog to try to minimise my time in the rain. And, yes, I tripped and fell, scraping both

Owie. Poor Ian! Hope you feel better soon! And at least you can replace just the one lens in your specs, and the whole thing doesn't need fixing.

Alas, I can't. It was my sunglass lens I scratched, and since they're a matched pair, I have to buy a whole new pair. On the plus side, it looks like that'll only cost around $30, which is around, oooh, €2 at the moment. :-p
