The blood clot broke up already actually. i had a second scan last friday and it's gone. Now we are just on preventative measures to prevent future clots, and the medication for that provides the most complications.

I recommend you talk to your doctor about this option. It's a pretty damned fast, safe and effective procedure for dealing with clots.
