Good for you! I'm glad you're becoming more aware. You should really talk to him about how you are really learning how to be in a relationship and that you are scared. That might help him understand you better so he knows how to handle it when you start doing that. Brian has had to deal with some of the fallout from me being with Jim, and me explaining it to him has really helped us work through it. Communicate! I can't stress that enough, lady, no matter how hard it is. It will help immensely.

I'm very happy for you :)

and the other thing is...we're not really in a "relationship," so I'm sort of afraid to say too much. I fear I may already have...

See? It's kismet! :) I know it's not really a relationship, but that's the sort of thing you want to say before you really get into a relationship so that he's aware. You don't need to get into it too much.

And, hey, there's nothing wrong with being vulnerable sometimes! Maybe you'll know it's the right guy when you're actually able to let go and BE vulnerable. Even guys need that sometimes...

hey girl!!! I'm doing the journal catchup, so I'll be over to comment on yours soon!

the darby thing gets weirder: he told me he still thinks about me every day.

that kind of threw me.

he told me he still thinks about me every day.

That doesn't surprise me, frankly.

Delicious chocolate bars are great, yum. How about giving him a rain check for brunch? Everyone loves knowing that brunch is in the future! :)

Sounds like you are still cleaning crap out of your life, and working to clean up your karmic slate. We all make mistakes and hopefully learn a lot from them. I think it's part of the life cleanup process, too.

I'm so glad this place worked out for you after your disappointment about the other place. I felt bad for you when we were at that Cuban place and you got the message. Can't wait to see your new pad! Very happy for you! Oh, and how's the new bag???

(yes, I have an LJ account!)

Well, I guess with all my accounts I can be considered knowledgeable in the social networking world! ;) I use my power for good, not evil. :)

Glad you have brunch with him in the future.

Now it's time to create those chocolate covered peppermint marshmallows. ;) Will call soon.

weellll i offered, we'll see if it pans out. He actually called last night to warn me that he found bedbugs in his house. Which means he could have tracked them over to my house. AUGH! but I haven't been bitten or seen anything, (and my mattress, my only furniture, has been sealed in a tight tight zippered bag since I brought it home), so cross fingers I'm safe!
