Oh, the tangled webs we weave!

So aside from finding a fabulous red dress for the rehearsal dinner, I finally wrote the wedding song for my sister. I think it's going to sound absolutely beautiful once all the little arrangements are done. I really think this is one of my best. :-)

My car died yesterday. Yep, I was driving to work and it just died. It had been making noises for several days (probably an indicator that it was crapping out) and yesterday it died. So, I don't have a car for the time being and with my luck, fixing my car will probably end up costing me an arm, a leg and my soul. :-( Oh well. I'll have to take it ( Read more... )

It's almost time for me to submit University applications. God, this week itself has been stressful enough without having to worry about getting into a good program. I don't want to apply to only one school, so I've been looking at a few campuses which offer the creative writing major. Grrr. Now, my head just hurts. I was doing laundry today when I saw this bright green thing on the side of the wall outside. I got closer...and it was a spider! I was so captivated by it's beauty. It was huge and looked leafy. I don't like Wednesdays. I don't really like my Literature 1 class. All I want to do is take a nap or watch Grey's Anatomy Season 2. lol "sigh"

Five years ago I was seventeen.
I was a senior in high school.
I missed school that day because of a minor surgical procedure I had the day before.
I watched the entire thing unfold before my eyes.
I never felt so sad and scared all at once.
I prayed for God to help them.
I don't know why it had to be that way.
