Blind man!
They are renovating offices all around me as we reconfigure for more space. Today someone showed up to take down a bunch of blinds, but had only a short time to work and said he's coming back tomorrow. I am so disgusted with my builder. This is nothing at all new, it's just at the fore because I am sending him the final "HERE IS THE LAST OF THE MONEY YOU CLAIM WE OWE YOU, YOU SCUMBAG" check today and I hope he never darkens our door again ( Read more... ) -
The fairy doors
The fairy door thing in Ann Arbor may be too twee for some people, but I generally like the effort and the quirkiness. I am also pleased that a goblin door has popped up.
Today I read that there's a fairy door at Google-- only it has a sign in the Google font saying "Giggle." :) -
No questions asked that's an excused absence.
My son went to school late this morning. When my husband signed him in, he looked at the line above him and that kid had put "Clown attack" as the reason for his late arrival. -
So it goes.
Me, every time I watch a home remodeling show: "I can't believe these clients! The contractor finds a problem with their home, so the project costs more, and they get mad at their contractor? Listen, morons, It's not your damned contractor's fault your foundation sucks, or some idiot cut into your roof joists! Be grateful he found it. They ( Read more... ) -
It's safe to say I'm good and sick of this cold

Do not call restarting my computer a "quick fix." It may be some other kind of fix, but it is not fucking quick.
