Last nights lunar eclipse was awesome. Spent it in a park, having a picnic dinner (mmmm cabbage, bbq vege, weird ass taro mush steamed buns) with honey liquer and real chinese mooncake. There were a few clouds out, but not enough to totally obscure the show

Hello! Wasn't it so so pretty last night?! I ended up on top of the reservoir in Windsor watching, so so cool. Somethine weird happened though, I took a photo of it while it was red, but when I got home it was bright green. Now that's freaky. :P
About 2 mins after it was fully eclipsed and red there was this huge big rumbling sound booming out of nowhere and everyone just went deathly silent.... and then we realised we were near the airport, and it was a plane taking off. :)

Sounds like you had a lovely evening. We stood out on our back ramp and watched it turn red - and then we got cold and tired and went back inside.
