After experiencing National Portfolio Day, and after I didn't really receieve the kind of response from representatives that I wanted...I've kind of just opened my eyes a little more and come out and said to myself that I'm not all that passionate about art. I've gone through the exact same thing. When my parents forced me to pick something to major in I said game design, since I do it on the computer occasionaly(and I hate cubicles). But sometimes I just don't feel like doing it; a lot actually. I have the problem of being passionate about it but not good enough.

What I decided was similar, just go to the best college you can get into undecided, and figure it out there. And don't feel bad not knowing what to do no one does. And if they do they'll probably change their mind 6 times.

words from a current art student:

i almost didnt go to college, let alone getting into art school with scholarship. I can honestly say that this is the best decision i have ever made. dont give up. art school will make you be passionate about art. even though i have taken nothing but fundamentals and such so far and will be for the rest of this year, it motivates you and you learn so much about art and it helps you. trust me.
