I LOVE SEEING THIS COME UP ON MY LJ FILTER!!!!!!! :D:D:D
Anyway, I loved this chapter! (I love every chapter, though :P). Gosh I just love the way you write Jake. And how he's always telling Bella what she brings to their friendship etc etc.
That church, my god (lol, excuse the pun there...), is magnificent :O I'm not religious by any means myself, but I thought you handled that scene really well. Like, you didn't push forward any extreme religious ideas, yet you didn't mollify them. You had a nice balance. And it's part of Angela's character I think, so it wasn't out of sorts.
I LOVE SEEING THIS COME UP ON MY LJ FILTER!!!!!!! :D:D:D
I'M GLAD! I'M SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG!!
This chapter really threw me for a loop. I really wanted to develop Angela's character a bit, and I'd imagine that growing up as a daughter of a minster means her faith plays a pretty central role in her life, so I was glad that I managed to talk about that without coming off like a preacher myself ;)
Thanks for your patience, chica. Hopefully I'll have a new update coming for you in a much more timely fashion next time! <3
You hit, like, all my favorite lines from this chapter too! Great mind, etc...
And Charlie really does need more love, and he does need to bring some more love to the table. I'm glad you approve. It's silly that insane Bella comes off as more sane than actual, novel Bella though. I hope it stays that way ;) Thanks so much for reading, chica! ♥
“There’s not a person walking around that doesn’t have a little duct tape or spackle on their hearts. You suffer until someone comes along and makes you want to feel all those romantic things again, so you break out the glue and start all over. We all end up like your truck, basically. The imperfections make us special

I'm sorry, I got sidetracked before I could reply to this the other night. Now I'm sitting around in Employment Law, catching up on emails ;) I was originally very torn on whether or not to include Jake and Bella's little heart-to-heart because I wasn't sure if it was necessary. But I know that I always really wondered why Jake and Bella were friends in the series, so the passage stayed. Good thing too, since it seems to be well received. And Charlie, that poor guy. He's so much fun to write when he's angry...
I thought you handled it very well, so it didn't come off as preachy too.
THANK GOODNESS. This section got edited so much just out of sheer panic ;) Oh, and thanks for the vote. Hopefully my next update will happen during a better time, for both our sakes.

This is the only j/b story that I'm really following at the moment, because it's so creatively done.
I always fall in and out of my twi-love, but this story is just way too good to pass up.
I agree with a couple of the other readers, I like how you used Angela's spirituality to kind of slap Bella in her face and wake her the eff up. Her overall personality is really clingy... to Jake... to memories/the past... to Edward, etc, etc. And just the few examples that Angela brings up on how Bella can turn around her "perspective" shines a light on thereareotherthingstoworryaboutthenyourpretendexvampbf.
You're just a very good storyteller. And I'm eager to see where this story goes. So good. :)

LIES. There's no such things as bad fangirls. Not in our side of the sandbox, at least. I guess that just means that J/B shippers are awesome ;)
Angela was such a wild-card in this chapter. I figured readers would either like her or hate her, so I'm glad reception seems to be trending in a positive direction. It seemed fitting, though, for Angela be really be the cause of Bella's (and pardon the expression - it's my grandmother's) "come to Jesus moment." I'm hoping this manages to be a turning point for Bella's character.
That being said, I'm glad you're enjoying the story. Thanks so much for reading ♥
i think this has been the most FULL chapter yet!! soooooo much happened. and when i say that sooooo much happened, i really mean that sooooo much happened that i liked.
firstly, can i just say that i laughed obnoxiously loud when Jake was asleep and he rolled over, taking weak lil Bella with him. Ahhh sleepy-Jake, i wish to keep you forever and ever.
THEN!! i love when you have Jake explaining love (that goes for all your stories). you just get it woman! you are somehow able to dilute it down to phrases that i can actually imagine a teenager with Jacob's personality saying! AND IT IS MARVELLOUS

Hey babe!!! I haven't talked to you in years. I feel like I'm never on anymore. This semester is really full (and this legal thesis is trying to kick my ass) so I spend all my time reading mind numbing articles so that I can attempt to write my own. Fun, right. By the by, I feel like shit - I still have half of your fic sitting on my hard drive, waiting to be read. It's on my list...it's just that every time I cross something off it, some other reading assignment or paper else gets added. I'm getting to it slowly though, line by line. I hope you don't hate me for the neglect. I'll have a lot more free time come summer

I now know how you feel. I am back at uni too now and I can just tell that this semester is going to be a doozy (especially since i am attempting to actually "try" this time around haha).
and hun... don't feel like shit! i dont know whether i mentioned this to you but i've been having someone else looking over my story for me. so whilst i am still soooooooooo keen to hear your comments on it, don't feel you have to rush. you're not keeping me waiting, and my writing progress has been slow anyway. haha ;)
And you are first and foremost in line to claim sleep!Jake as far as I'm concerned.
omigawd really? WOOHOO! IN YOUR FACE LOSERS!!! i promise i will take good care of him. I'll set up a basket in the corner of my room for him to sleep in and everything. and if he's really good, i might even let him sleep on the bed with me. but only if he doesn't shed hair all over it. :D
I think one of the reasons that I enjoy writing the guys so much is that, after spending your life surrounded by brothers, it becomes kinda natural after a

OMG, the sudden drop in the weather. Hell must've frozen over. This from the girl who I distinctly remember blogging about sleeping through and failing to write certain papers ;) I'm SHOCKED! Seriously though, doesn't it feel good to be almost done?? Soon you'll have to start planning your "Laura Actually Graduated" extravaganza. Make sure to tell me where you're registered :D
I feel you guys on the fandom, though. It's just not as much fun lately. I mean, it's a nice break from real life, but it's like the high from NW has died down, and I think people are realizing that it's all just gonna be about Rob and Kstew from here on out. I'm hoping it's a phase though. I need to keep this going for at least 15 more chapters anyways...
