I have just come into possession of two japanese katanas and while my first thought was to run around outside and cut stuff, I believe the better idea may be that I put them up on the wall...out of my hands. Sheathed, dude. Hattori Hanzo displays all his swords sheathed. And when it comes to swords, his example is best to follow, my son.
Or yeah, you could just kill shit. It would probably mess the blade up pretty bad though.

JUST RUN AROUND AND CUT THINGS UPS! Preferably green things, because green things generally aren't animals or people. So yeah. Don't do either. :0( Just cut things. I'll come. We'll be all HA I'M ALUCARD WITH A SWORD and HA I'M THE POLICE GIRL WITH A SWORD. Kay, so that might not turn out well, but we can still cut things anyway. Mmmm, pretty swords. If I HAVE to choose, go with the blades showing, cause we're southerns and we're allowed to be tacky.
