yeah yeah... the beach is nice, but it gets boring sometimes. I may just have to start going to Kempo 3 times a week (it just means a longer drive one night)... it's the most promising route so far for new friends.

But really, I wish I knew what to tell you. You know that not knowing anyone is why I didn't do well while in New Orleans or Wisconsin during my telecom days. Its hard to meet new people and create friendships in a new town, and I swear it gets harder as we age. Everyone my age is at home raising kidlets, not out riding a bike or whatever.

MMORPGs can definitely take up too much of your life. When you spend more time online than you do interacting with people face to face then that's not a good thing.

That being said, they can be a very good return on your entertainment dollar. If you play for more than two hours a month, it's still cheaper than going out to the movies.
