Yeah, I hate my immune system... see, I don't get sick (like, honestly sick) very often. It's usually a once a year phenomenon. However, when I do get sick, it takes me 2+ weeks to shake it! I've been sick since I got back from Dragon Con last week, and it just wont go away. The congestion has (mostly) left my head and migrated down to my chest ( Read more... )

There is a thing known as Con Crud, which may have taken you down. It is hypothesized that Con Crud breeds on the gaming floor from the germs of 1,000 unwashed gamers, then seeps into the rest of the con. Many people get quite ill after a big con, it sucks.

yeah, Len said the same thing ;) Part of the problem is that I've been living in isolation for the past year or so, and I really haven't been exposed to this year's crop of germs, viruses, or the plague. So, take that and drop it in the middle of 50 thousand con goers at DCon, and you get a nice Rich-Shaped-Petri-Dish.

I'm getting better, I just hate being sick.

My name is Kristen - I was just searching for ppl near/in Chattanooga and happened upon your page. :) Hope you don't mind the intrusion. My favorite books are autobiographies/journals. :) I happened to see the word WOW and it made my pulse quicken!! LOL Anywho - just wanted to say Howdy ;)

ahh, I see... I really should update my bio page... I moved away from chattanooga about a year and a half ago. I now live in Fairhope, on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay on the gulf coast. I miss my friends and the community in Chattanooga, but it's very peaceful and pretty down here, so I'm happy. I just make up for my lack of real social interaction by playing heaps and heaps of WoW ;) I play on the Earthen Ring server, if you care to join me some time. I'm the guild master in a nice medium sized casual guild, and I'm the mage team lead in a new up and coming Raiding Guild.
