Internet access was available, mainly at work and so not conducive to LJ browsing, and frankly I was a more than a bit preoccupied with the house to notice. I hope home issues weren't too traumatic and you have time for a little peace and perspective in N.C. I know muchtvs has been working very recently, so I was guessing you were next in line. Pre-emptive strike request: please dissuade her from reindeer kicks and candy cane impalements. She'll understand!

Now, go take a hot shower and plug something in and watch it work its magic just because you CAN!

I reminded her that Chrismukkah was coming and that a second annual holiday hellfest for Ryan like "Six Days after Chrismukkah" would be just what every wish list needed. "Tis the season for asskicking and bonding. Santa Much seems to have deranged ideas about hurting him with a reindeer and giant candy canes. This must not happen. I shudder to think what she'd do with elves. You've escaped the family bed with your sanity intact. Be the voice of reason!
