i don't think that's true. i think you're ship with a rudder, and a map even. maybe you just don't want to go where the map takes you?

don't want to go? I don't know about that, I don't seem to be going anywhere, so somewhere is better than nowhere.

What should you be? A rudderless ship? ;)

I think that instead of trying to figure out what you want to be... just decide to follow Christ in the moment. The rest will fall into place... not necessarily easily... but fall into place, none the less. I can't tell you how many times I've worried myself to death about something only to realize that prayer (talking AND listening) were the things I was doing the least of. Once I got that on target, the problems may not have been solved, but I was at least more calm about the situation.
