I've done a lot of thinking since I've been back, and I don't have the enthusiasm for computers that I had before. Honestly, I can't stand them most of the time. I wonder why I thought they were so great in the first place. So, I'm going to quit LJ, stop using AIM, and drastically reduce the amount of time I'm on the computer.
Right now, I'm working on selling some stuff, and just getting rid of extra crap I have lying around. After that, I'm going to work on reading books and exercising. I'll probably go back to school.
well, I haven't really read anything I didn't already know. At this point, I'm not sure if I should continue, because I'm not in a church, or a small group. It seems the book is really focusing on that now, and I'm not sure if I should put it down until I'm in a small group, or what good it would do to pick it up again once I'm in a small group.
So far, I'm not that impressed. I guess, because, I haven't learned anything from it yet.
My small group is doing the book now. I've not learned anything new either... but the reminders have pointed out areas in my life that need tweaking. Sometimes I think my problem with a relationship with God is that I know too much about how to have one. Does that make sense? Like... if I'd never heard anything before, then there would be that shock of realization that would propell be toward Him. But as it is, I've heard it all my life... and nothing seems to just... pop. Of course, I shouldn't need something to pop in order to run to Him. There's another issue. Blah.

God, Family, Country. Seek God and his will for your life first and foremost. Everything just falls into place after that, really.
Or, as Abraham Lincoln once said:
Be excellent to each other...
...and...
PARTY ON, DUDES!
