I was in a bookstore browsing the half-off nonfiction when a book about human corpses caught my eye. I had a few minutes to spare so I read the front flap and some paragraphs near the end. I dog-sat this weekend for my parents. On Saturday, I went over to Judy's house up the road and dug through her attic for restoration-y items and played with her animals. Horses mostly. • I accidentally killed an innocent animal today.

Well, more precisely, I accidentally severely maimed a little snake today and had to kill it with a rock to prevent it's suffering.
It was awful and I feel like shit.
I was snake-searching in the river as I often do, and I squished it with a rock and it's guts were coming out.
