I'm a captain!!  ah i'm so excited- it's going to be so much fun.  and i'll onl;y be a junior!  so that means i'll get to be a captain for 2 years in a row!  i can't wait to have control.  we had our cross country banquet the other night.  i got a plaque for "most improved"  and my varsity pin.  and found out about the captain thing.

My weekend was crazy.  Meet of Champs was so incredibly emotional.  Well let's start off with Class L's.  We DIDN'T WIN.  or get second.  We got 4th.  2 of our girls had good days (did beyond what was expected) I had an ok day (did exactly what was expected) and the other two blew it (did way way below what was expected)  it was sad but whatever.  ( Read more... )

ahhh soooo colllllld.  it is sooo cold out!! my weekend was awesome.  we had manchester ininvitationals at derryfield on saturday which is always fun.  the varsity team all got to car pool in later since we weren't racing until 12:30 and Derry wanted us to get some extra sleep since the regular bus was leaving at 6.  I felt like i ran a good race ( Read more... )

We had our first meet yesterday.  we left school at 1:15.  it was a small meet w/ only 2 other teams.  about 60 kids total racing.  i raced ok i guess.  i got another PR by about 15 seconds from the time trials.  i got 22:29 and i placed 13th.  i really should have placed at least 10th or really if i had wanted it enough i could have placed 6th  ( Read more... )
