Nothing much to say here, CC. We make of ourselves what we will -- we are the only ones responsible for our own lives, and most of our angst come from not realizing this. We are what we make of ourselves.

Voting is always optional. It's a privilige, and if you chose not to participate, then who cares? All not voting means is that you have no opinion whatsoever about what happens in an election that you could have been part of. This is only the second year I've voted - and you know how old I am!

Anyway, try to avoid having your character sucked into a vortex 10 minutes after making it, k?

Being allowed not to vote is just an excuse to not pay attention. Me I favor mandatory voting.

Dude the unseen mob came above the surface and screwed things up. Unlike say clinton bush, this was a real election. No unseen hand, and a pretty obvious indication that some of the semi-seen hands are weakening. May not last forever, but run through it again in your head and enjoy it for a moment.

Random teen suicide (which didn't pass) is very different than end of life options for the terminally ill. And that also is a good thing.

When did you become an ambulance driver in Beiruit? You work next to a place that sells $30 a pint olive oil. I guess maybe your bitter that other self absorbed people have more money to spend in silly ways than you , but otherwise I fail to see how the yuppie mall crowd is any rational indication of Mans inhumanity to Man.

i.e. stop being so damn maudlin.
