I think I saw that one last week, but Rachel was busy shutting down our pc. We got a new laptop now though so I can go online when she's napping/sleeping. Woo hoo! I went over there just now and answered your post ;-)
woo hoo! Thanks! I ususally have read some of the books you post about. We have similar taste in reads. You would definately love anything by Elizabeth Berg (women's issues). She hits the nail square on the head, its spooky.
01. Have you ever read a book(s) that's changed your life? What is it, and how did it change your life? Many books have touched me or given me great things to think about, but I can't think of many that changed my life. Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and Richard Bach's Illusions did change my perspectives considerably.
02. Who/What turned you onto reading? As a kid I believed reading was for people that didn't know how to have fun or have a life. It wasn't until I read some good books as an adult that I started to truly enjoy reading.
03. What are the best books you were assigned to read in high school? I can't think of an assigned book I liked. A few I read during that time that had an impact: Death Be Not Proud blew me away. Sybil made me want to be a psychoanalyst. Blood Money scared the hell out of me. Helter Skelter fascinated and horrified me. (funny how all are non-fiction, eh?)
