This morning, we were going down Eastern Parkway, the part where there's a big grassy median, dividing it into an eastbound and westbound side, with two lanes per side. man, I think I just had that sad moment where I realized I'm old. I looked at the Billboard #1 hits since 1/1/2007 and I had heard of all of 2 of them. Scratch that, since the "Music is my Girlfriend" song apparently isn't "Girlfriend" by Avril Lavigne (which was a #1 hit), I'd only heard of one of the #1 songs in the past 15 months... Man, I just fixed my garbage disposal. This seems like a trivial accomplishment, until you realize this was the disposal from hell. 99.99% of disposals known to man have a little connecter underneath, into which you can put a special 6-sided tool and manually run the disposal in reverse to fix any jams. Man, I was driving on Norris Place today, this little 2-lane street that goes by Bellarmine, right? It's wider than a residential street, but narrower than Bardstown Road... it's just about the perfect size for the traffic it gets.
