Niiki-- you just made me squeal. Everyone has been making fun of me because of the countdown on my away messages. I love you, I love you, I love you.

I will read this entry after I have a chance to watch it. I preordered it but it hasn't gotten to me yet. Last I checked the shipping, it was in Illinois so it should be here soon-- possibly tomorrow. I can't wait until I get it and I can watch it. I love you! I'm so glad someone else is excited.

LOL...I'm such a dumbass. I had no idea what you were counting down to. I was like "he's coming home that early? That doesn't make sense..." I was counting down the hours while I was sitting in class. Then when I got to bufu Walmart and finally found it...I might have hugged it and danced around for while. Seriously, I think they should package this movie as a drug, because I am in such a good mood just from having it and seeing it, it's ridiculous. Ahh, sorry! I'm not trying to rub it in. I'll concentrate my pyschic energy on making it get to you sooner!

And yay for squealage! This movie is so squeal-worthy. Cloud is gorgeous and I have an urge to make out with the screen whenever I see him. Reno is...perfect. You'll see what I mean.

I think I am going to watch this movie everyday for the rest of my life. And you and I are going to watch it sometime over break, or we can't be friends anymore.

By the way, know what I also realized? The english voice for Vincent is the same guy who did the voices for Spike and Mugen. Man, he just pops up everywhere. He did the voice all low and tortured and meanacing (Vincent, after all) so I didn't really pick up on it at first. The japanese voices are cool too, from what little snippets I rewatched while taking screencaps. I'm going to watch the whole thing again, this time in japanese of course, as soon as I get home. Screw french homework, this is obviously more important.

So it came today and I watched it. I think I'm going to watch it again. I think I'm going to watch it every day of my life until I die.

Yes, it was very much reliant on the video game (especially since they never mentioned Aeris by name or her relationship to Cloud) but if you know the background of the film it was definitely a great follow-up. I think there should have been more though, in addition to the crazy cool battle scenes.

Speaking of, GAH! SO BEAUTIFUL! SO SO WONDERFUL! The fight in the church with Tifa was extraordinary. I love it. I love it so much. I think that the other characters should have been given more screen time because they definitely needed more in there... unless there's going to be a sequel. Then I can wait until then. SEQUEL SEQUEL SEQUEL!

I almost crapped my pants, by the way, when after the fight in the church with Tifa the guy's cell phone played the victory theme? I was laughing hysterically.

I need to watch it again and make like 20 icons for it. If you want one, just request.

OMG, yes! That thing with the phone cracked my shit up!! And was Reno not the most amazing and hilarious thing ever?! That scene from the beginning at Healin with him and Cloud - priceless. Although I am a little disappointed he didn't electrocute anyone, I mean, that's the whole point of the Electro-mag rod, right? How cool would that have been ( ... )
