I cannot believe it's been 2 months since my last post. What's worse is I can't remember why. I guess I've been busy. The Core Plan is when you eat foods off of a "Core List", for which you don't count points for. Anything you eat that is not on the list you have to take points from a 35 point weekly bank for. It is an effort to get people to eat more "whole foods" and less processed stuff. Also, on this plan people tend to do less carbo-loading.

Maybe you're retaining water and that's why your pants are tight. Try to drink double the amount of water that you normally do (or at least 48 ozs.), and limit salty foods.

Let me know if you want to know more about the plan.

but try to limit going out to eat. Most sit down restaurants have healthy options but usually they are still not as healthy as what you can make at home and for cheaper.

The cornerstone of any diet is exercise. As little as 20-30 minutes of walking 3x/week. Don't know how the gym is going, but you may want to do more cardio.

Also, a basic diabetic diet consists of 3 meals with no more than 45 grams of carbs per meal and 3 snacks with no more than 30 grams of carbs each. That's what I've been doing and at 9 months pregnant, I am still about 17 pounds down.

Blessings and Luck!
