I love summertime. I love the smell of the heat, the warmth on your skin, it's a very lazy sensuality to it all. I know it doesn't make sense but a co-worker was just chuckling over something and I was thinking 'how can you laugh'. I feel raw. Most of the time I do a pretty good job of hiding my emotions and bottling things down until I break, preferably alone in the privacy of my own space. I feel like I can't hide this. Went down stairs, popped my Lean Cuisine into the microwave, it beeped it was done, so I pull back the plastic wrap and check the temperature by - sticking my finger in the middle of a NUCLEAR pile of veggies! As I draw back my throbbing finger, I think to myself, guess it's hot.
