Uh, nothing bad. I guess the emphasis is more on "really" than "sometimes," and a "well" could easily go in after "works." I mean, there are situations where open source software is really buggy (like a bunch of the programs I downloaded for Linux and had to root through before I found one I liked.) But other times it's vastly better than or at least comparable to the proprietary competition (Firefox, Thunderbird, Ubuntu (getting there), Pidgin, Rhythmbox, Compiz, gxine.) This is a case of the latter.
