Whoaz. It totally freaked me out. I've never felt an earthquake, so I initially thought it was a huge car running into the side of my house. I got a little scared. :X

I think we don't need scientists, just check LJ to see how far and widely an earthquake was felt :) By 2am, I had 5 reports of it on my friends' list.

it was a 3.8...and really short, but it was awesome! i love earthquakes! but you are not alone, i guess not many people felt it.

I am so disorriented when I wake up that I thought I was dreaming. I freaked out and thought it was something insane like an alien attack then went right back to sleep. I totally forgot about it until someone asked me about it this morning. I was all like "Hey,....that did happen"
