so got back from my 18 day vacation on friday.  man, it was a really fun time!  i can't believe it is over, and tomorrow I have to go back to nebraska.  i am excited to go back to see friends and family and not be in a rush, but then again i am so so so sad to have to leave matt.  :(  I think this will be the hardest separation for us because we ( Read more... )

So I just found out today that the countries I am visiting over spring break are in the Schengen area, and so my tourist visa will end much sooner than I once thought.  It will end in the middle of my trip, and I hope hope hope that they don't know how to count.  I don't want to be forcibly removed and not allowed into 20 or so countries again.  ( Read more... )

so i just calculated how long it would take me to pay off the student loans i owe.  without adding the interest that will accumulate, it will take me 9 years to pay off with payments of $170 a month.  that blows!  and the sucky part is i have already gotten half of them paid off by my parents (they saved me money!).  hol-ee shit ( Read more... )

aah, glorious sun!  yesterday was the first time i've seen it in a month, the first time since arriving in norway!  sure, there is 'daylight', but to actually see the physical sun!  it's a wierd feeling after not having seen it for a month.  even i alaska i saw it everyday.  i couldn't imagine not seeing it from late november until now!
