Getting back to ME I suppose. The things I used to do when I was by myself had a lot of free time that is now being spent with Larkin. I miss playing guitar, I miss random trips to downtown, and I just miss alone time. He's wonderful and I don't regret a single day that I spend with him, but my alone time was great also. I'm going to try and find a balance.
Then I would swim away to shores unknown and sell myself to a galapagos Seal named Fred.
He would say, "Top o' da' morning to ya!" and I would know he is not real because they only say that kind of think in London.
Then we would decide to both enjoy ourselves merely as fictional characters and not concern ourselves with the lives of mortal men. Fishers would try to catch us but we'd laugh and sing and despite our inner tonelessness find that we are quite competent at fish harmonica*.
We started a band that was at first called Phish but later changed to Colonel Heater and His Brass Balloons. We did standards and show tunes and just when we thought we would run out of material Fred came up to me and slapped me on the cheek and said, "You cheeky Bastard." I thanked him for that and we parted ways.
Enjoy your day Rena. You are beautiful and the world smiles upon you.
