Cherry blossoms are one of my favourite things about Victoria! They're everywhere!

My sister is living with her dad and his gf and her two kids at the moment. It was the gf's birthday a bit ago and the kids had NOTHING planned for their mom! My sister's dad didn't have much planned either. So my sister baked a cake, talked the boys into getting presents for her, got balloons, etc. The gf was totally blown away, it had been years since she got so much attention =D

Wow, that is a lot of you in a short period of time! Your parents must've been superstars, but I bet you were never bored growing up.

When I told my friends Shivendra and Anamika (they have the adorable 2 year old, who is actually almost 3) in February that if I had gotten laid off I would be royally screwed they said to me, "If you had gotten laid off you could have come lived with us." That's family right there.

this is oddly surreal, and I wouldn't believe it if I wasn't the one it happened to.

A few days I went to buy my friend a birthday card and noticed, when driving home, that I had been given an extra dollar in change. Not wanting them to panic at the end of the night when the drawer was off, I called and told them I'd return it the next day. I did - and felt super good for doing it.

The next day, no lie, a similar thing happened to me - I under charged someone and they came back in and said "hey... I think you wanted to charge me this amount, but you accidentally charged me this amount." So, I felt lots of good karma points were repaid that day. :)

Dude, that IS surreal. I love stories like that - it makes me feel like there's some essential balance in the universe, and that everything eventually works out!
