I hate being so disconnected from my friends, my family. I hate reading LJ posts and finding out what people are doing. I used to find out these things before they happened. Now I have to read LJ to find out they're happening. I could just leave LJ. But then I'd never know anything. It's a cruel irony that shouldn't exist ( Read more... )

No one really knows why God asks us to do anything. I know it's hard, but maybe He just wants to see your willingness to end it all with Dan in order to follow Him. However, I know this isn't really the point, but if you are so dependent on Dan that you can't exist then that's idolatry. I know this is probably not very encouraging... sorry. We miss you though... lurve! Oh and the who are you... the answer is simple. I hope you find it yourself soon.

I kinda have the same problem..... sort of. I'm a very different person during the summer. I do care that you are alive! It's a good thing. I won't say that I understand exactly how you feel or that I understand your situation completely, but I have the general idea. My heart goes out to you. I wish more than anything I could take all of your problems away, but I'm not God and I can't do that. Remember that God uses the people he puts into your life and he has a reason for putting them there. You may never know why they were put there, but just know that there is a reason, God has a plan, and it's going to be amazing. Trust me. As Austin said, perhaps God is testing you to see how far you will go for him. Remember the Story of Abraham and Issac. How God told Abraham to sacrifice his son as an offering. It's absurd and totally unreasonable. Yet Abraham would have done it, if the Lord hadn't stopped him. I'm not saying that it is exactly the same(please don't kill Dan on a mountain.
