Today M got certified as an openwater diver! I did a refresher couse since it had been been about 4 years since I'd dove. The water is still a bit chilly but very clear. Saw a huge lobster, didn't have gloves so didn't have lobster. But did 2 dives and it was awesome. Now we are just trying and planning a trip to the Red Sea. But till then ( Read more... )

That just HAS to be the most awesome ever -how's the water? I think you were saying it's cold as hell?

It's quite chilly. You basically need a 5 mil wetsuit year-round but we will probally be able to stop wearing hoods in about a month. (I hate hoods.) M is going to be in Sig this weekend, I'm debating doing a Sun dive but I think that I will probally spend the day checking out things for the trip with mom. I leave in 6 days and still have a ton of shit to do. But I am so excited. I know that we have the first 4 days taken care of, finding a affordable hotel in Geneva is a pain in the ass but I did and then we have reservations in Basel so that we can see the King Tut tomb. Then just roaming France, Germany, and Italy. I'm excited but tired just thinking about it.
