Well, we are moving to England at the end of May!!! Sadly we could be there earlier but due to the whole quarenteen thing we have to wait or pay out a ton of money. Right now we are trying to keep it down to just a week and that is still going to cost us a lot. About $20 a day. But at least we are there for 3 years ( Read more... )

Wow. That dog quarantine crap sucks. :/

I think that's rad you guys are moving again. All globe-trottin' and shit.

Please tell Mike I said hi and congrats and all thatjazz, since I think I've figured out he doesn't actually look at LJ. :) We miss you guys a ton.

If you manage to make it back over the holidays, please let me know. Summer and I would love to have you guys for dinner. It's been way too damn long.

We aren't going to make it home for the holidays, but we are looking at being there sometime in April. We will gladly do dinner if you have the time. If not, definatly coffee or drinks.

I will pass along the kind thoughts to Mike. He's trapped to a computer most of the day and just to buzy to check LJ, but our connection at home is so slow that it drives him out of his mind. But thanks, we miss you too.

Well that IS drama - hopefully they get cleared soon though!

$20 a day per dog? or total? Either way it's alot. May will come soon though - don't worry.

That's per dog, plus a 200 pound pick up charge. Yikes!

The funny thing is that since we've basically stopped going out we are constantly being invited somewhere now. But we get to play a lot of poker, and I'm actually invited!! With breasts!!

I figured you would have had to go through the quarantine bit once you got to Europe, and then it was all done. Then again, Norway is a 6-month quarantine, and there's no way around it.

I thought every day was a drag show in Greece.

I actually thought that we would have to do it here but it's Greece, so noone cares. Thankfully, the last govenir of Hong Kong had some Pugs that he wanted to bring back, so England scrapped the mandatory 6 months. Had that still been in place, I would seriously be debating sending the dogs back to the states. I can't even imagine how much that would have cost. Not to mention that Guiness would have lost his mind. So in that respect we are lucky, if we can get the Greeks to stop screwing stuff up. But so far all seems well.

As for the second part, I'm not even going to comment...heh.
