I am feeling much better after my surgery. However I can't help but feel down. I wish I had not lost time for the writing competition. I can't see how with the papers at school, i can finish.

Well I fee like I wasted my time yesterday making a nice meal when my guest never even showed up. It was disappointing really. And they never even called! Why do people do that?

Started my cycle today. blech. Good think I am home tomorrow.

Made a wonderful cake. Brownies on the bottom with a cream-cheese cake on top.

I am having the hardest time consentrating today. I couldn't sleep last night due to thinking about my sister, wanting to vist my family, and then getting a rather odd book idea. Now today I am thinking about the book idea, trying to study, and thinking about a possible job option ( Read more... )

Today I saw an image of a painting, in my imagination. It was a black and white painting.  I got to thinking about my last name as I listened to my husband on the phone. Kyrre and I are the only two people with the world with our last name. There are two others who have permission to take the last name, but choose not to.

You would think we would be famous. Perhaps we should make the name famous. But how?

The sun never sets here. It stays just below the horizon and illuminates  the sky.
 I miss the moon. this is probably the most difficult challenge I face.
But they tell me that in the fourth season the sun never rises, with the exception of two or three hours in the middle of the day.
What shall I do. Then I shall miss the sun.
