soooooo tired. shannon's grad went really well, i think she had a good time, and she looked gorgeous. mass, ceremonies, banquet, dance were all great. she sang beautifully. and i was fine until she left for safe grad (that's wet grad, BC), at which point i turned into a quivering sap, shouting things like "watch your drink

I have always found it curious that so many high schools plan safe/wet grad, making the assumption that kids are going to get drunk so you might as well give them a place to do it...my high school instead plans a dry grad, where they rent out the community centre and hire a hypnotist and other random goofy stuff in the hopes that it will be fun without alcohol. Everyone goes and it is fun without alcohol, but I think a lot of people probably just get drunk the next night.
