So on Thursday (last), I was informed that our three assistant managers (Shelivia, Kim, and Bryan) were being let go due to downsizing. We were all in pretty decent shock, especially over Shelivia, as she has been with the company for 8 years. To top it, they were bringing in someone else fro a different store to replace them

Also if you are fired from a job the chances of you getting unemployment are drastically reduced (since the company pays for it). A lot of bigger companies do that to get out of paying unemployment.
