So FL I have an actually serious question. Is Vista really that bad? I have yet to actually use it but I have yet to hear anything good, and if I purchase a new computer I have to buy it. I don't have a choice. It sucks. I don't want it, but I really don't have a choice, unless I get a Mac and throw XP on there. Sadness. Need some advice.

After five years it looks like my desktop has finally given up the ghost. The fucker is dead. Turned it on when I got home and the fans spin up but the machine itself doesn't even POST (all the funny stuff that happens before Windows starts). Nothing. MB appears to be completely dead, primary hard drive doesn't spin at all ( Read more... )

The Domino Sugar plant exploded today. Why do I care? Well, um, the building I work in is RIGHT NEXT DOOR.
