I work far too much, but at least Luke has friends he can spend time with now. Makes me feel less like my job is keeping him all shut in. I think I need to meet the girl he seems interested in, but how awkward would that be ( Read more... )

Baby, you can hit me anytime.

What's the damage? I talk to him all the time. I'd even talk to him about taboo subjects that no one else will touch. Like, if he asks about bukake? I've got it covered.

It's a little-known fact, but I actually have a sufficient working knowledge of how Google on the internet works.

You know, I did actually know that. I meant for other things, like dating and such.

I suppose that's true. Google can't answer everything.

Proposing a scenario... if I wanted to ask someone out, is there a way to know for certain that they are going to say yes? It seems like a dreadful waste of time, if there's a chance they'll say no.

Oh please, I just multi-task really well.

That sounds like fun, I'll be looking forward to it.

Probably. I wouldn't deny that.

I'd like a ride, if that's not too much trouble.

[OOC: Sure, sounds fun!]

Which girl is this? He mentioned Yachiru recently, and she's not at all awkward to be around.

I... don't really know Luke, outside of these blogs. Otherwise, I'd be cool with setting up double dates and things. Maybe if he and Yachiru hit it off, I can manage it.

That would be the one. Are you sure? I've never done this whole 'checking out potential dates' thing.

You know, maybe you should introduce yourself to him and come over sometime? He's getting much better at being social.

Well, she pretty much just likes being friends with everybody, so if you wanted to meet her, she probably wouldn't turn you down.

I guess it couldn't hurt. We've been talking to one another through blogs for years, so it's not like meeting up with a random stranger over the internet. I'll see about it.

I'm sure she wouldn't mind, it's more the incongruity of the situation that has me feeling awkward.

That would be appreciated.
