[Somewhere in the mass of cranes in her lap you can see several gold foil origami apples; one has been ripped in half and many of the cranes have been crumpled. Judging by the relative darkness and silence, this was an accidental post...but if you listen closely you'll hear one or two muffled sobs. [It seems Anna and Alice have gotten bored while Nunnally is sick and have decided to use the communicator as their new toy. It sees Alice pouncing it is what turned it on, and for a while her pawing at the thing is all you can see. Sometimes you can catch glimpses of Anna playing with something shiny.]

I have a favor to ask. If Brother and I are both sent home, would anyone be willing to care for our cats? They're very sweet and they won't cause any trouble! I'd like them to be kept together if possible, but...just knowing that they'll be safe is enough.
