I'm crying from laughter, thank you for writing this! :)
I'd also add a will save not to be shaken while peeing in the dark wind tossed forest with random creaking echoing over the mountain side...

I think You are shaken and intimidated by the morning. Take a -1 penalty on all attack and skill rolls. is going to enter into my permanent conceptual vocabulary.

heh, I wasn't thinking much of that line, but now that you've pointed it out, it's definitely come into my mind too.

And the last line... very nice. Anticipating a movie, are we?

I so wish when I was in 6-10th grade I appreciated the story telling aspects of role playing rather than the die rolling, rules arguing, and monster slaying (although the monster slaying coupled with good story telling would have been OK...) feels like time wasted...

actually, that last line is a quote from The Fellowship of the Ring for added geek points ;)

My junior high and high school roleplaying experiences were all about the hack-and-slash (one of my DMs also actively encouraged player-vs-player fratricide) but the folks that I play with now do a decent balance of story building and combat. Though, we do sometimes get bogged down in (imagined) politics and philosophical morality, it at least lends itself to interesting discussions.
