I've posted that poem before as well. It's one of my favorites.

And who were you thinking of when you posted it? Not that every poem has to have someone in particular that makes one think of it, but let's face it, this one often does.

Did you know that that particular piece was originally published in a paperback book titled "Sonnets Actualities XXIV", to which Björk recently gave tribute with the release of her Medulla album and its ninth track "Sonnets/Unrealities XI"?

I didn't know that. I like knowing new things.

I've been told I'd probably be intrigued by Bjork's (damn this ethnocentrist keyboard!) work. I really should take the trouble to try some soon.

I have a habit of knowing things that others wouldn't generally consider knowing.

If ever you need reccomendations or ideas where to start, for her forest is one with many trees of varying shape size sound, do not hesitate to pick my brain. I won't guarantee you'll like what she has to offer, though. For all of her genius that I perceive, there exist those who find her work to be too outrageous to swallow.

I usually hate it when people post stray pieces of other people's work in substitution for their own words, because it always forces me to guess to what and when and whom such a reference is applicable. Not that anything original wouldn't make me do so as well.
