I still find myself waiting after all these years for others to do what I'd like instead of just going and doing. I cannot believe I'm back in this same place. Again.
Making plans to visit a museum this weekend and maybe the food trucks. -
Memorial Day Weekend
I cooked a lot this weekend. made quite a few dishes this weekend: blackened spicy tilapia/turkey burgers/veggie pasta. nice to eat in and relax at home with the Arrested Development marathon. Didn't stay awake long enough last night to see any of the new episodes ( Read more... ) -

a real update
a real update.
i'm making a headboard and covering it with fabric. it's already fabulous. i bought the fabric today. its a heavy woven fabric; plain and neutral in color. should match almost any quilt i choose.
i picked up the wood yesterday and assembled the headboard last night. the same day!!! this is the old me. the me that got shit ( Read more... ) -

Laura Ann Edwards
Laura Edwards, 36, of Alexandria, Virginia, passed away July 25th 2010 with her family by her side. She is survived by her parents Mr. and Mrs. D.V. My Father in Law passed away this morning. We were able to visit him last Saturday. He was awake and talking with his sense of humor intact.
Jesse was good guy and family get-togethers and Holidays without him will feel like a choir without a alto section.
I got a great set of in-laws this time around and I will forever be grateful for them.
