Today I dropped a huge pile of vanilla soft-serve ice cream on the floor. Someone ordered pie ala mode, and I was really getting into piling that ice cream on the pie - like I was building the Eiffel Tower with cold milk and sugar. It was beautiful. So, Josh is preaching on Sunday, and I'm doing a mime/dance to a new worship song. I really like the song, and I'm excited to share something I really love - dance - with the people at church. I'm browsing around the public library in this rural community I live in, and I'm becoming quite disappointed. Since leaving Hillsdale, I've read the new Nicolas Sparks book and The DaVinci Code. I got a puppy on Saturday. Ahhhh - (sigh of joy and contentedness in my soul) - puppies are wonderful. It's a cockapoo/shih tzu, and it's name is Willow. I am really intending not to get all mushy and cutsy about my dog, but I might not be able to help it because I have the cutest and most wonderful dog in the world. So, since posting the last entry, I've done a bit more fairie research. I'm bored. But, I've learned that there is supposedly a type of faeried called a nix or nixie. Yep, I'm a faerie. Where are my wings. A nixie is a water faerie that lures people into her pond and keeps them there or does michevious things to children and pregnant women. ( Read more... )

I think I have been cursed with being un-photogenic and really bad at small talk, which leads to me being one to make a not-so-great first impression. I hope, at least, that I'm un-photogenic...that's the only option that allows me to think that I must look a little better than that in person.
