Wow, this is perfect, thank you for contributing to rare pairings ficathon. The Ann/April dynamic was so spot on and I loved the little bits of Leslie/April, and wow I'm going to sound like such a dork here but I just love all your Parks fic. Thank you for writing for the parks fandom, no one writes Leslie/April, Ann/April, or really Leslie/Ann anymore, and it's nice to see some variety in Parks fic. Especially fic that is this well written.

Aww, that's so sweet, thank you!!!! And it was honestly my pleasure, most of the time I think every pairing except Leslie/Ben is rare in this fandom so it wasn't too difficult. I am so super glad you liked it, though, I don't often feel like I have the greatest grasp on Ann or even April really unless they're... with Leslie??? So it's really nice to know that they sounded right and the addition of Leslie wasn't out of place!

Oh man, am I so glad I stumbled upon this. ANN PERKINS. And APRIL. My brain hasn't really ever gone here but this is delightful and I do like the Leslie/Ann undertones as well, and April just sort of rolling with hating everyone and everything less.

But I have to say this:

April shrugs. “I saw it on The L Word once.”

“You... watch that?”

“No, when Leslie broke up with Ben and he was super depressed he bought the whole series on DVD and just sat in the living room watching it all day. Then me and Andy kept walking in on it and sitting down and he ended up making us late for like, everything. Anyway what do you care? It’s not like you’re married.”

Has to be one of the funniest things I've seen so far in 2012. OF COURSE BEN WOULD RANDOMLY WATCH THE L WORD. He probably got super invested in Bette and Tina getting back together and EVERYTHING.

Since that is literally exactly what I have been doing I couldn't not put a reference in somewhere, and it was going to be April but then I thought it was so much more a stupid Ben Wyatt thing to do that I went that way instead. It is my crowning achievement in writing.

OK SO REMEMBER WHEN YOU WERE AMAZING AND WROTE THIS FOR ME AND I WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST AND FORGOT TO COMMENT? THIS IS ME RECTIFYING THAT ATROCITY. Also I haven't really forgotten that I said I'd write you Leslie/April but I kind of hope you have... I have a .txt document I swear maybe I should send you that and you can make something awesome like this because I'm bad at it

This was actually perfect, and I loved that you managed to squeeze in Leslie/April (but something about Leslie turns her into a person that almost likes that kind of thing. TEARS)! And Leslie/Ann! All the lady love! I loved all of the little moments of physical intimacy. Your April voice was great. I think a lot of people think you just need to make April sarcastic and hate stuff when writing her, but you got her little nuances down.

And ugh she insisted about Food N' Stuff (RON/APRIL!!!!) and dying the champagne with food colouring and Andy and his horse de-verses and April's champagne logic regarding makeouts (the way you contextualized her desire was perfect

Hahahaha this is kind of funny because I completely forgot all about this so when I got the email it was like SURPRISE, YOU WROTE AN APRIL/ANN FIC as well as the surprise of you commenting. A DOUBLE SURPRISE. Also I did totally forget you were going to write me that fic. TRIPLE SURPRISE.

I am really glad you liked all the touching, I always notice how handsy Leslie is with Ann (and to a slightly lesser extent April, but there is that BEAUTIFUL deleted scene from The Master Plan where Leslie hugs April and like, tries to wax poetic about how she's a ~woman, or something??? I watched it so long ago I can't remember specifics but it was adorable and remains one of my favourites) and I love it a lot.

I AM ALSO GLAD YOU LIKED THAT LINE OF LESLIE'S AND ALSO EVERYTHING ELSE, I really was creeping close to drunk at several points during the writing of this :D:
