I can not explain why Mr. Harry Rose tickled me so completely on Una's DVD extras the other day. He was apparently a big-deal vaudeville MC who hosted some early talkies - just filmed bits of vaudeville - and omg, I suddenly realized that the parodies people do of the style are not even exaggerating. He's creating a character
